By sending in an entry, you give the Editors the right to publish your story in a volume to be entitled Stories at the Coffee Table - Volume 1, (SATCT-V1 for short) and to reprint your story if that volume goes into further editions beyond the first publishing. |

If your entry is shortlisted, you agree to cooperate with the Editors in making any changes or modifications that the Editors request. |

Short-listing is NOT a guarantee of being eventually included in SATCT-V1. |

If your entry is eventually chosen for inclusion in SATC-V1, you give the Editors the right to use short extracts from your story in any publicity material and press releases that make up our marketing and distribution effort, including this website. |

If you entry is eventually chosen for inclusion in SATC-V1, you agree to make yourself available for public readings at events that make up the marketing and distribution effort in your city of residence. You also agree that your entry, or a part of it, may be be read aloud to an audience at these events by people other than yourself, whether you are present or not. You also agree that your story may be one of those selected to be published in full on this website as part of our promotion efforts. |

You do NOT lose the ownership of your work, or the right to subsequently publish the story elsewhere, in any form, including the form used in SATCT-V1. However, you agree that you will not publish or agree to publish your story elsewhere for a period of one year from the date that the winners of SATCT-V1 being announced. |

If you have an opportunity to publish your story elsewhere before the winners are announced, and would like to accept that offer, please let us know immediately, so we can send you our warmest congratulations and withdraw your story from the contest. |
