You had to be there!

Do you know why rock concerts charge so much money?
Because when they are free, the crowd that turns up to hear them is lame.

I tried a lot to record every bit but because I was standing too close the bass.it f***ed the recording up. Nothing can be heard but for noise.

(thank god for that, young jugal, we might be getting sued for bootleg recordings. ~Ed.)

YOU HAD TO BE THERE FOR IT! They played anything and everything that can be classified heavenly. And they played it like gods :)

This was my first Parikrama show and now I know why they’re called greats of Indian rock.

Tracklist (in no order, originals and covers were interlaced)
Parikrama - Rhythm & Blues (original features Usha Uthup)
Parikrama - Open Skies (Instrumental)
Parikrama - But it rained
Parikrama - Vaporise
Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the wall (order: I, III, II)
Pink Floyd - Coming back to life
G n’ R medley featuring Sweet Child o’ mine (violin-piano version with a long solo intro and then with only crowd singing) and Paradise City (they suddenly broke into it).
Deep Purple - Smoke on water (long solos)
ACDC - Highway to Hell (silences in chorus)
Coldplay - Yellow (starts with Nitin Malik (leads) playing it on the
acoustic guitar and the rest following him, stage turning yellow in
smoke and yellow lights)
Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze

Zero did put up a good show as usual but the crowd was dead. I
hated them for being so dumb and not appreciating originals. Zero did only 2 covers and they were in their element of experimentation though definitely not as livewire as Parikrama since the lead guitarist who was new (but as talented as Warren was) is a very dead guy on stage, kinda nervous too. They did a brilliant cover of Roxanne. They next did a funky version of some banana song that I’d heard before, a song called Day-O by Harry Belafonte
:D

Tracklist:
PSP (obviously. but a spiced up fast paced version with extra drumming)
Lucy
Not my kinda of girl (the first song that the band wrote)
A wish (new single)
Roxanne (cover)
Day-O (cover)
.

after that one hour of Parikrama I forgot what all those
guys played earlier! That’s insane - there were 2 other originals
which I cant remember the names of right now! bizarre! :( because they are on my ipod!

I came back light headed grinning like a maniac all the way back to my hostel. I think everybody goes a little insane after a rock show. I got so high on the great numbers they played. And this evening I felt like Edmund Hillary.
