This workshop will be, as the name suggests, all about writing for the screen. It will cover the following sub-themes:
Day one: The classic structure of a script, why have heroes, what is plot, how to build up conflict and resolution, and how to do your home-work.
Day two: Tackling the home-work you’ve done, discussing what works and what doesn’t, introduction to quick cheats.

Manisha Lakhe is a graduate of the North West Film Center, Portland (Oregon). She is Director of Content, Femina magazine, and has been creative director with various advertising agencies. She has written two film scripts, one of which is under production, and the other has been optioned by HBO.
