Since not many people bothered to find out what the plane was about, here goes:

It was a concept that aimed to turn the stark reality on its head. It was a fighter plane made of Khadi. It was occupying 3500 sq feet of an area that is normally the repository of the many cars that woefully congest Mumbai. Thus occupying this area, it gave solace and shelter and peaceful sleep to all the thousands of figures sleeping below it...something that is not otherwise possible in Mumbai in daily life was achieved by a fighter plane made out of Khadi.
