I agree with you about Jerry not being, well, as genteel as he could have been but I also have to add that a moderator's job isn't easy. They have to make sure everyone gets their share of stage-time and that the event is wrapped up according to schedule. AND the man does know how to engage an audience. I agree with you about Jerry not being, well, as genteel as he could have been but I also have to add that a moderator’s job isn’t easy. They have to make sure everyone gets their share of stage-time and that the event is wrapped up according to schedule. AND the man does know how to engage an audience.

His moderation with "we have time for just one/two questions" would have been more acceptable had he himself arrived on time. Also during the break the way he was seen booing the Adverts which were played on the screen was appaling afterall TOI was one of the sponsors and had probably paid for the stall which were selling his books. On the whole the the evening was good but would have been better had the Host behaved like one. Cheers Hi Divya,
